About Tripsntix
Tripsntix finds big football matches, Christmas markets and concerts across Europe, the UK and South America, then plans the travel from wherever you live: flights from your nearest airport, priced in your own currency, or trains from your nearest station in Britain, on the right days, with hotels and official tickets a tap away.
How trips are planned
- European trips run from the day before the event to the day after, so you're never rushing for kick-off or the encore.
- Christmas market trips run Friday to Sunday. Train trips in Britain go on the day and come home the next morning. The further you fly, the longer the trip: long haul gives you five nights.
- The Premier League is shown to anyone travelling in from outside England. The League of Ireland and the FAI Cup are on there too.
- Combos put two events on one trip, such as a match and a concert. A combo only appears when you can actually do both: they're on different days, or there's time to finish one and travel to the other.
Where the information comes from
- Football: fixtures from football-data.org for the Premier League, the Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Liga Portugal, the Eredivisie, the Champions League and the Brasileirão. Games in other leagues are picked by hand from club and league announcements, and their kick-off times then keep themselves up to date from TheSportsDB.
- Concerts: tour dates from Ticketmaster, plus dates added by hand from artists' and promoters' announcements.
- Christmas markets: dates from the organisers and city tourist boards, checked by hand each autumn.
- Flight prices: the cheapest fares other travellers found on Aviasales in the last 48 hours.
- Trip totals: the return fare plus the cheapest ticket we know of, per person, with hotels extra. Tickets in another currency are converted at the European Central Bank's reference rates, via Frankfurter.
- Train times: typical fastest journeys. Fares open on Trainline, National Rail or Eurostar.
- Stadium photos: free-licence pictures from Wikimedia Commons, found through Wikidata. Each one names its photographer and licence on the trip.
Dates, kick-off times and prices change. Always check with the club, organiser, venue or travel company before you book.
How Tripsntix makes money
Tripsntix is free to use. Some links to airlines, booking sites, ticket sellers and rail companies are affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Commission never decides what we show.
Links to football clubs' own ticket shops are never affiliate links, and we never link to ticket resale sites. Clubs can cancel resold tickets and refuse entry at the gate.
What we don't do
We don't sell travel or tickets ourselves, and we're not a travel agent. When you book, you book directly with the airline, hotel, rail company or ticket seller, and their terms apply.
Tripsntix isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any club, league, artist, promoter, venue or market organiser. Their names are used only to describe their events.
